Xiaomi Mi 11 box dimensions hinted at the lack of a charger included
The official announcement of the new flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 11 will take place on December 28. And although most of the technical characteristics of the device are already known, details about the features of this device continue to appear on the Web. For example, there was information that the new product will probably be delivered without a charger in the kit.
This assumption was prompted by a photo of the box of the upcoming flagship Xiaomi published by the Chinese blogger @DigitalChatStation. The photo shows that the size of the package, on which Xiaomi 11 is written, is slightly larger than the box from the iPhone 12 series smartphone.
In addition, the source of the photo itself explained that the box with the Xiaomi Mi 11 is also as light as that of the iPhone 12 smartphones, since there is no charger in it. If this is true, then Xiaomi has decided to follow the lead of Apple and Samsung.
As a reminder, all iPhone 12 models, as well as other Apple smartphones (iPhone 11, iPhone XR, and iPhone SE) are shipped without power adapters and headphones. The Cupertino giant claims to have taken this step for the good of nature – to reduce carbon emissions and e-waste.
Interestingly enough, Samsung initially criticized Apple for this decision but recently began to remove advertising materials in which it ridiculed Apple’s act. Rumours also attribute the lack of included chargers to the new Samsung Galaxy S21 series of smartphones. You will have to buy them separately.
