Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone powered by Snapdragon 888 will debut two days before the new year
Internet sources have disclosed the date of the official presentation of the world’s first smartphone with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor – the Xiaomi Mi 11: it is claimed that the new product will appear on December 29, that is, a couple of days before the New Year.
The family is expected to include the base model Mi 11 and the more expensive modification Mi 11 Pro. Renders of one of the smartphones have already appeared on the web (see below). As you can see, the device will receive a frameless screen that folds onto the side of the case. In the upper left corner of this panel, there is a small hole for a single front camera.
The main camera will supposedly combine three image sensors and a flash: these components will be enclosed in a square-shaped area with rounded corners. The talk is about the use of a 108-megapixel sensor, a unit with a 13-megapixel sensor and ultra-wide-angle optics, as well as a 5-megapixel macroblock.
According to rumors, the refresh rate of the screen will be up to 120 Hz. Power will be provided by a 4780 rechargeable battery with support for fast 55-watt charging.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 series smartphones will ship with the Android 11 operating system complemented by the MIUI 12.5 proprietary user interface.
