Xiaomi Mi Box S set-top box finally got Android working update

The first public beta of Android 9 Pie became available for Xiaomi Mi Box S in November 2019. She also brought official support for Amazon Prime Video. Then Xiaomi released several modified beta versions and in January made available a stable version. However, its distribution was soon suspended due to numerous user complaints about problems.

Now a stable version of Android Pie with bug fixes has been released. The assembly has a number 2604 and a capacity of 625 MB. It is available “by air.”

As the developer indicates, the following problems were resolved in the update: broken Chromecast, “freezing” of some applications, H264 decoding error, lack of Bluetooth audio synchronization with the video sequence, HDMI compatibility, strange standby sounds, incorrect operation with connected keyboards, and some others.
