Xiaomi prepares to explode the TV market with its first 8K panel

Xiaomi TVs are very popular. For example, the Chinese company was able to set a sales record for the giant Redmi Smart TV Max 98 panel, equipped with a 98-inch 4K display. Now, according to internet sources, Xiaomi intends to conquer the 8K TV segment.

It is noted that Xiaomi is preparing for the release of the panel with the codes L82M6-8K and L82M6-4K. The first will receive a screen with a resolution of 8K (7680 × 4320 pixels), the second – 4K (3840 × 2160 pixels). In this case, the size of both new products will be 82 inches diagonally.

Observers believe Xiaomi is gearing up to explore the 8K TV panel segment by releasing relatively affordable models that will offer a variety of ultra-high-definition content.

It is also possible that the new Xiaomi will receive an integrated modem for working in fifth-generation mobile networks (5G). This will allow users to download 8K content over the air.

Unfortunately, there is no information on when Xiaomi is going to officially unveil its first 8K TV.
