Xiaomi showed possible design options for the POCO X3 smartphone

We have already reported that the POCO brand, created by the Chinese company Xiaomi, is preparing for the release of the X3 mid-range smartphone. Now POCO’s global marketing and product manager, Angus Kai Ho Ng, has posted images on his Twitter blog that shed light on the design of the unit.

The head of POCO gives four possible options for the rear panel of a smartphone, or rather, a multi-module camera unit. In all cases, there are four optical elements that are enclosed in a circular region.

In this case, the modules have different relative positions: for example, they can be organized in the form of a 2 × 2 matrix or lined up in a horizontal row.

Curiously, none of the proposed options show a flash: this means that it can be located outside the circular section. By the way, an unofficial render of the POCO X3 with a camera equipped with a flash was published earlier on the Internet (see below).

According to rumors, the equipment of the new items will include a 6.5-inch Full HD + display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the yet unannounced Snapdragon 732G mobile chip, a 5160 mAh battery with support for fast 33-watt charging. The resolution of the main sensor of the rear camera will be 64 million pixels.
