Xiaomi will present the flagships Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro on December 28 – the first smartphones on Snapdragon 888

The Chinese company Xiaomi has published an official teaser image announcing that the presentation of the flagship smartphones of the Mi 11 family will take place on December 28, and not on the 29th of this month, as previously assumed. These will be the first commercial devices powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.

The series is rumoured to include the base model Mi 11 and the more expensive modification Mi 11 Pro. The devices will allegedly receive a high-quality Quad HD + display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, as well as a multi-module camera with a 108-megapixel main sensor. Operating system – Android 11 out of the box.

One of the representatives of the Xiaomi Mi 11 family, with the code designation M2011K2C, appeared on the eve in the popular GeekBench benchmark. The device uses a Venus motherboard with a Snapdragon 888 chip, working in tandem with 12 GB of RAM. Obviously, versions with a different amount of RAM will also go on sale, say, with 8 GB.

Data from various regulators indicate that the Mi 11 smartphone carries a 4780 mAh battery on board, the Mi 11 Pro – 4970 mAh. Moreover, for the older model, support for ultra-fast 120-watt recharging is provided.
