Back in April, it was reported that Xiaomi had planned for the end of this year to announce a 5G smartphone with a price tag of $ 140-150. It is now reportedly going to be the base variant of the Redmi Note 9, which will debut alongside its more expensive sibling, the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Earlier, the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA) disclosed the characteristics of both devices. So, the equipment of Redmi Note 9 will include a 6.53-inch IPS display in Full HD + format, a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, a triple camera with a 48-megapixel main sensor, and a 5000 mAh battery. It is reported that this version will cost $ 150.
In turn, the device Redmi Note 9 Pro will be offered for $ 230. The equipment of this model includes a 6.67-inch Full HD + screen with a refresh rate up to 120 Hz, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chip, a quad camera with a 108-megapixel sensor, and a 4820 mAh battery.
