Xiaomi will soon stop working on new versions of MIUI

But this does not mean that firmware updates will not be released for these models.

Xiaomi has announced that work on new beta versions of the MIUI 14 interface for a number of once very popular phones will be stopped in the future for several months: Redmi K40 Pro / Pro +, Redmi K40, Xiaomi Mi 10S, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G, Redmi K40 Gaming and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. So, work on beta versions of MIUI 14 for these models will stop on April 21.

But this does not mean that these phones will stop updating – they will continue to receive stable versions of MIUI 14 for some more time, and then they will receive security updates for about another year. And only then Xiaomi will add all these models to the list of devices that have reached the End of Support cycle (end of support).
