Now less reason to use the application
The technical specifications of the tablets already make it possible to browse websites with the quality available on desktop PCs, so the YouTube service has made appropriate changes to its website. The web interface has become more convenient for devices with a large touch screen, including the Apple iPad, tablets with Android OS and computers with Chrome OS. New gestures allow you to quickly move to full-screen mode or a mini-player, and improved scrolling and large icon sizes should be more intuitive. Even the usual three-point menu (under the thumbnails) is now permanent instead of requiring mouse hover.
YouTube has become more convenient for tablets
In addition, sorting of browsing history has improved and the ability to sort playlists by moving the video to the top or bottom has appeared. These changes were first seen in March, but now they have become widely available.
Although the innovations do not cancel applications for viewing YouTube on devices running Android or iPadOS, after the update there are fewer reasons to use them, bypassing a more universal tool in the form of a browser.
