Zotac has released snow-white GeForce RTX 3080 and 3070

We wrote a couple of weeks ago that Zotac is preparing for the release of the GeForce RTX 3070 in the Twin Edge OC White Edition. And today the company has decided to officially announce this new product. In addition, the GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity OC model was announced in the same snow-white performance.

Manufacturers are increasingly releasing computer components in white as they become more popular among computer modding enthusiasts. Zotac decided to keep up with the trend and introduced the White series of graphics accelerators. According to the company, both models are limited editions, but what exactly this means the company did not explain. Perhaps, video cards in white will appear on sale only in certain regions, or they will be released in limited editions.

Both new Zotac products are equipped with ARGB-backlighting, which is controlled using proprietary Spectra 2.0 software.

For the older model GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity OC White, equipped with a more efficient cooling system with three fans, Zotac announced the GPU frequency in Boost mode at 1740 MHz. Thus, the factory overclocking was only 1.8% of the nominal. For the GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC White version, the company also offers minimum overclocking out of the box – the GPU frequency in Boost mode is 1755 MHz, which is 1.7% higher than the reference value.

Since the frequency mode of the video cards practically did not change, Zotac announced the reference values for the TPD level for both models, which are 320 and 220 watts for the older and younger versions, respectively. A feature of the younger version was the appearance of a second 8-pin connector for additional power.
