ZTE Unveils Sub $ 25 LiveBuds SE Fully Wireless Headphones
The Chinese company ZTE, a major telecommunications equipment, and cellular device manufacturer, has announced the fully wireless submersible headphone (TWS) LiveBuds SE.
The scope of delivery is traditional for products of this category: these are independent in-ear modules for the left and right ears and a charging case. Buyers will be able to choose between two color options – black and white.
A Bluetooth 5.0 connection is used to connect to a smartphone. Noise suppression tools are mentioned that improve the quality of telephone conversations.
The earbuds are endowed with a rather long “leg,” and their weight is only 4 grams. The IPX4 certification means protection against moisture and sweat, so the novelty is suitable for use during sports.
The case is equipped with a 550 mAh battery. The exact battery life is not disclosed, but it is said that owners will need to recharge for “normal” use once a week.
The ZTE LiveBuds SE headphones will go on sale at an estimated price of $ 23.
According to Canalys estimates, about 432 million wireless earbuds of various types were sold worldwide in 2020. In this mass, the TWS model accounted for 59%.
