This should result in minimal gaming delays.
Nubia CEO Ni Fei previously confirmed that the new Nubia Red Magic 5S gaming smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 865+ SoC, and now he spoke about other features of the device.
144/240/320 Hz in Nubia Red Magic 5S gaming smartphone
The upcoming Red Magic 5S will be the third Nubia gaming smartphone this year after Red Magic 5G and Nubia Play 5G (aka Red Magic 5G Lite). The new smartphone will be equipped with a screen with an image refresh rate of 144 Hz, a polling rate of the sensor layer of 240 Hz, as well as game buttons with a polling rate of 320 Hz. This should lead to minimal delays in games that cannot be felt.
The smartphone will be equipped with an AMOLED panel, like its predecessor. In addition, it is confirmed that the phone is built on the basis of a single-chip system Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus. The Red Magic 5S will get LPDDR5 RAM, just like the Red Magic 5G, with UFS 3.0 flash being swapped out for the even faster UFS 3.1. The company said it has optimized its Magic Write fast read and write technology to improve the overall performance of the device.
The presentation of new items is expected in the near future.
