Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro are the first smartphones in the world to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED Full HD + screen with 165 Hz refresh rate
Last week, Nubia officially unveiled the next generation of gaming flagship mobile phones, the Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro, which go on sale today.
165Hz, 18GB, Snapdragon 888 and 120W: Red Magic 6 Pro flagship smartphone goes on sale
RedMagic 6 with 8/128 GB of memory costs 588 dollars, the version with 12/128 GB of memory is priced at 634 dollars, and the version with 12/256 GB of memory can be purchased for 680 dollars. RedMagic 6 Pro is available in 12/128 GB, 12/256 GB and 16/256 GB for $ 680, 740 and 920. There are also versions of the RedMagic 6 Pro Special Edition with a transparent back panel: 16/256 GB for $ 865 and 18/512 GB for $ 1020.
Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro are the world’s first smartphones equipped with a 6.5-inch AMOLED Full HD + screen with 165 Hz refresh rate and 500 Hz touch layer polling rate. The screen supports 10-bit screen color depth and provides full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
In addition, Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro are equipped with 18,000 and 20,000 rpm fans, respectively. The smartphones are based on the flagship SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and run the Red Magic OS 4 shell based on the Android 11 operating system.
The smartphones got a 64-megapixel camera, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory. The Nubia Red Magic 6 received a 5050 mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging, and the Red Magic 6 Pro got 4500 mAh and 120W charging. 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS are supported, there are stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
