Aerocool LUX 1000W power supply unit received improved ventilation
Aerocool has announced the LUX 1000W power supply for high-performance desktop computers. The novelty, as reflected in the name, has a power of 1000 watts.
The device is 80 Plus Gold certified, which means that the efficiency is at least 90%. The system of modular cables, alas, is not provided.
The power supply has received an improved cooling system. The perforated surface area is increased by 30% compared to conventional solutions, resulting in improved air circulation. The 120 mm fan rotates at less than 800 rpm until the load reaches 60%: this helps to reduce the noise level.
Various safety features are provided – UVP (under-voltage protection), OVP (overvoltage protection), OPP (overpower protection), and SCP (short circuit protection) systems.
Among other things, the developer highlights flat cables: this shape simplifies their routing inside a computer case.
The dates of the beginning of sales and the price are not named.
