Sunil Mittal said at the India Mobile Congress 2022 that the country’s oldest private telecom operator is launching 5G mobile services in eight major cities and will provide these services in most parts of the country by March 2023 and across the country by March 2024. According to the information, Airtel has started 5G service from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Varanasi. Information about the other four cities has not been given yet.

Regarding Airtel’s 5G plan, it was said that its signal will not come in your phone immediately. Its service will be restored in a phased manner. Its service will be started in the first selected tower. Before enrolling 5G service in any phone, the phone will have an OTA update. Its service will start better in the next few months.
Service will be available in every corner of the country by December 2023
In the program of India Mobile Congress-2022, Ambani said that Jio will start affordable 5G service and by December 2023 these services will be made available in every corner of the country.
