Alleged new Huawei MateBook X comes with Intel Tiger Lake processor

Last month, Huawei, which is struggling with US sanctions, announced the MateBook X laptop (pictured) powered by Intel Comet Lake. Now Internet sources have revealed information about the company’s new laptop, which may also enter the MateBook X family, say, under the name MateBook X Pro.

This time we are talking about a laptop with an eleventh generation Intel Core processor Tiger Lake series. In particular, a Core i7-1160G7 chip with four computing cores (eight instruction streams) and an Intel Iris Xe Graphics graphics accelerator is involved. The maximum clock speed is 4.4 GHz.

It is known that the laptop carries 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM on board. Responsible for data storage is a 512 GB solid-state drive.

The screen size was not specified. But it is known that a 3K format panel with a resolution of 3000 × 2000 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3: 2 is used. Most likely, a 13.9-inch matrix was used.

The operating system Windows 10 is installed on the laptop. Most likely, the official presentation of the novelty will take place at the end of this year or early next year. Intel has obtained the right to supply its notebook processors to Huawei under an export license, so there should be no problem supplying this type of product with components.
