Amazfit under the Zepp brand is preparing a new smartwatch of the Z series with a classic design
At the beginning of this year, Amazfit launched the Zepp brand. In August, the Zepp E smartwatch was released in versions with a round and rectangular case, which received the same specifications and cost. It has now become known that the company will introduce a new family of wearable devices towards the end of this month.
The Zepp Z smartwatch is reportedly slated to launch on November 17th. Judging by the teaser published today, the new devices will be made in a classic design with a round metal case and a leather strap. There are three buttons on the side of the device. Note that the Zepp E presented earlier this year are equipped with only one low-profile key, making them easy to distinguish from the Amazfit GTR 2 and GTS 2, which are made in a similar design.
It is not yet clear whether a rectangular smartwatch will appear in the Zepp Z series. This will become known in two weeks unless the company decides to share details about the upcoming devices before their official launch. The estimated cost of Zepp Z is still unknown. The Zepp E presented in August is priced at $ 250.
Recall that Amazfit is an independent brand of the Chinese company Huami Technologies, best known for the production of Mi Band fitness trackers for Xiaomi. Under the Amazfit brand, wearable devices are produced, aimed primarily at people with active lifestyles. The company’s assortment includes fitness trackers, smartwatches, and even sportswear.
