True, in many games it is of no use
AMD has added support for the Fluid Motion Frames frame generator for all games that support DirectX 11/12. But this is not full support.
This is a driver-based implementation of the generator and does not require developers to implement the technology into their games. Moreover, for now, all this is implemented in the preliminary version of the driver.
AMD Fluid Motion Frames are now available in any modern game
But this is not the main thing. The important thing is that, as we already said, in this implementation the frame generator is disabled when the player actively moves the camera. AMD honestly warns about this in the driver description.
As a result, the technology turns out to be useless in many game genres, but now that it can work in any modern game, it can be used in general. At the same time, let us remind you that it works on Radeon RX 7000 and RX 6000 video cards.
