As it turned out if at a certain place on the AMD Battle Arena map (AMD-themed stadium, created by AMD in collaboration with the popular MAKAMAKES modder ), enter the code “6000”, a message appears on the screen: “Something big is coming to the AMD Battle Arena! ” (“AMD Battle Arena is awaiting something big!”)

Rumors that AMD’s next-generation GPUs are codenamed Big Navi (Navi 2X) and will be built on the new RDNA2 architecture have been around for a long time. Easter eggs in the game give a hint that new video cards based on them will appear in the RX 6000 series.

AMD itself has already confirmed numerous times that Big Navi will be presented this year. In addition, according to one of the company’s employees, consumer graphics accelerators of the Big Navi family will be released even before the launch of the next-generation game consoles, which, recall, are based on AMD hybrid chips with Zen 2 architecture and AMD RDNA2 graphics.

All the information available at the moment indicates that the launch of the next-generation consoles – PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will take place in November this year. Thus, at about the same time, the announcement of new gaming video cards based on Big Navi graphics chips should be expected.
