AMD Launches Radeon RX 6800 XT Midnight Black – Exclusive Reference Graphics Card With Custom Design
As expected, AMD released the Radeon RX 6800 XT Midnight Black – a new graphics card based on the Navi 2x GPU with RDNA 2 architecture. The new product is a special version of the Radeon RX 6800 XT and differs from it in appearance – it is completely made in black, instead of the silver-black paint on the original model.
The Radeon RX 6800 XT Midnight Black graphics card is available exclusively from the AMD store at amd.com. Surprisingly, the novelty was priced at the same price as the original model – in the US, its recommended price was $ 649.
Previously, the Radeon RX 6800 XT Midnight Black will be released in a limited series. By the time this news was written, all the video card stocks, of course, have been sold out. It is not known whether AMD plans to release new batches.
Recall that both the regular Radeon RX 6800 XT and the new Radeon RX 6800 XT Midnight Black are based on the Navi 21 XT GPU. It has 4608 stream processors. The base clock speed is 1825 MHz, the average frequency in games is declared at 2015 MHz, and the maximum Boost frequency is 2250 MHz. The video card is equipped with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory with an effective frequency of 16 GHz.
