AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT – not the best choice for “prospectors”
Referring to the Cryptomining blog, the source published data on the performance of the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT video card in relation to the “mining” of the Ethereum cryptocurrency.
AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT Mines Ethereum Slower Than RX 5700 XT
The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT is said to have a hash rate of around 43 MH / s, significantly less than the Radeon RX 5700 XT. According to Minerstat, the RX 5700 XT is roughly 54.3 MH / s, which is about 25% faster than the RX 6700 XT.
The source adds that the RX 6800 and 6900 XT cards deliver around 60 MH / s, while the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti delivers around 50 MH / s. Of course, we are talking about working with standard settings. Overclocking improves performance. According to Cryptomining Blog, in the case of the RX 6700 XT, the performance can be raised to 48 MH / s, but so far the card does not seem to be the best choice for mining.
