Apple removes power adapter from expensive Apple Watch kits
Today it became known that Apple will no longer equip the most expensive versions of its Watch Series 6 smartwatches with a 5-W power adapter. We are talking about modifications in cases with a coating of silver or gold, as well as Apple Watch Hermes. A week ago, the charger was shipped with the indicated watch models.
At the Time Flies event on September 15, Apple announced that it would no longer equip its smartwatches with power adapters to protect the environment. However, it later became known that modifications of the device such as the Apple Watch Series 6 Gold and Silver, as well as the Watch Hermes will still come with a 5-watt charger. The company is believed to have continued to bundle this watch with a charger because they are high-end models, priced between $ 799 and $ 1499. However, Apple’s website now states that the expensive Watch also lacks a power adapter.
It’s unclear why Apple decided to suddenly remove the charger from its premium smartwatch package. Nevertheless, this once again indirectly confirms the rumors that the upcoming iPhone 12, which is expected to be launched in the first half of October, will remain without a complete power adapter.
