Apple Watch Series 3 users complain massively about issues after updating to watchOS 7

The watchOS 7 operating system was released to a wide range of users last week. It has brought sleep tracking, new watch faces, and other features to all Apple smartwatches since Watch Series 3. However, many users complain that the watch’s stability has deteriorated markedly with the latest update.

A thread has appeared on the Apple Support Forum where Watch Series 3 owners are massively complaining about the poor performance of watches running watchOS 7. One of the most common complaints is that the watch spontaneously reboots several times a day. This resets the activity statistics, which is extremely upsetting for the owners. Apple Watch Series 3 is locked, remaining on the user’s wrist, disconnecting from the smartphone, and generally behaving extremely unpredictably under the new OS. Users have already declared this update to be the worst watchOS update ever.

Unfortunately, a rollback to watchOS 6 is no longer available and watchOS 7.0.1 hasn’t fixed the issues. Apple has not yet commented on the situation. We can only hope that the stability of watchOS on Apple Watch Series 3 will be brought back to normal in the coming updates.
