Some Wear OS 2 watches were released in 2020 and 2021
Google will soon end support for the Google Assistant voice assistant (Google Assistant) on Wear OS 2 smartwatches. This has not yet been officially announced, but a warning has already appeared in the latest update of the Wear OS by Google companion app .

The thematic resource 9to5google.com drew attention to it. The update adds a warning:
Google Assistant support on this watch is ending soon. Please use a newer watch that supports Google Assistant and runs Wear OS 3 or later.
That said, some Wear OS 2-based watches were released in 2020 and 2021. The exact timing for turning off Google Assistant on Wear OS 2 watches and earlier versions of the platform is not yet known. Presumably, this will happen before the end of 2023.
