ASUS names ZenBook Flip S world’s thinnest OLED convertible laptop

ASUS has unveiled the ZenBook Flip S laptop with Intel Evo platform certification. It is claimed to be the world’s thinnest convertible OLED laptop, at just 13.9mm thick.

The screen of the novelty has a size of 13.3 inches diagonally and has a resolution of 4K (3840 × 2160 pixels). Provides 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Color fidelity is PANTONE Validated, and VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification guarantees deep blacks and exceptional contrast.

The display supports touch control. The ErgoLift swivel mount allows you to open the lid 360 degrees, putting your computer in tablet mode.

The innovative ASUS NumberPad 2.0 digital block, built into the touchpad, is convenient for working with calculations, and the keyboard takes up the entire width of the case, so there is a place for a column of additional keys on its right side.

Equipment can include an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor up to 3.9 GHz or a Core i5-1135G7 up to 3.6 GHz. The amount of RAM is 8 or 16 GB. Supports up to 1TB PCIe Gen3 x4 SSD. There are Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax 2×2) and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters.

The set of I / O ports includes two USB Type-C connectors with Thunderbolt 4 support, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A connector, and an HDMI port. The claimed battery life on one recharge of the battery reaches 15 hours. The device weighs 1.2 kg.
