ASUS unveils AMD A520 motherboards for gaming, work and home systems

ASUS has announced its series of motherboards based on the fresh entry-level AMD A520 system logic. ASUS novelties are focused on creating the most affordable systems on the current AMD Ryzen 3000 and 4000G processors, and they will also be able to accept some future Socket AM4 processors.

The Taiwanese manufacturer has presented a total of five models of AMD A520 motherboards. Some of them are also presented in versions of the Corporate Stable Model (CSM), which are characterized by improved stability and reliability, and therefore are better suited for use in work, office and other corporate systems. Actually, the preparation of these motherboards was reported back in June .

For entry-level gaming systems, ASUS has offered the TUF Gaming A520M-Plus. It has a relatively powerful power subsystem (4 + 4 phases) and has four slots for DDR4 DIMM memory modules supporting frequencies up to 4800 MHz. The expansion slot kit includes a pair of PCIe 3.0 x1 and one PCIe 3.0 x16, as well as an M.2 slot for a Wi-Fi module. There is one M.2 slot and four SATA III slots for connecting storage devices.

ASUS offers Prime A520M-E, Prime A520M-K and Prime A520M-A motherboards for home, multimedia, work and other systems. They differ among themselves in equipment, and, accordingly, in price. For example, some models have only two memory slots, while others have four.

Finally, the ASUS Pro A520M-C / CSM board is designed specifically for working systems. She also has a fairly modest, but ample equipment. And the main feature of this motherboard, like many other representatives of the ASUS Pro family, is the green textolite, which is not so common in modern solutions.
