ASUS ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro smartphones will receive different processors

Curious information was found in the firmware code for the new ASUS smartphone, which appears under the code designation ZF. According to observers, this code hides the device of the ZenFone 7 family.

The code indicates that the device carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor (motherboard codenamed Kona). In this case, two maximum clock frequencies are indicated – 2.84 and 3.09 GHz.

As you know, the standard Snapdragon 865 chip operates at a frequency of up to 2.84 GHz, while an improved version of the Snapdragon 865 Plus gives an indicator of 3.09 GHz. Both solutions include the powerful Adreno 650 graphics accelerator.

Thus, observers believe that ASUS will release the ZenFone 7 smartphone with the Snapdragon 865 processor and the more powerful version of the ZenFone 7 Pro with the Snapdragon 865 Plus chip. Probably, these devices will also differ in display characteristics (say, refresh rate) and camera configuration. Some other parameters of the upcoming smartphones were previously disclosed. According to rumors, the equipment will include up to 16 GB of RAM, a flash drive with a capacity of up to 512 GB, an NFC controller, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters. The battery capacity can reach 5000 mAh.
