Bitcoin surpasses $ 15,000 – for the first time since January 2018

On November 5, the price of the most popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, for the first time since January 2018, exceeded the $ 15,000 mark, according to data from the CoinMarketCap analytical platform.

On November 6, the price of bitcoin reached $ 15,836, then dropped noticeably (to $ 15,462) and began to grow again.

At 10:59 Moscow time,  BTC climbed to $ 15,726:

Note that on October 31, the cryptocurrency exceeded the $ 14,000 level, but could not gain a foothold above the psychological mark.

Yesterday’s growth in bitcoin took place simultaneously with the rise in stock markets: European indices added 1%, American ones – more than 2%.
