Blogger launched his desktop inside Minecraft to play Minecraft

Fundy, a Dutch blogger, published a video in which he managed to launch his desktop in Minecraft. After that, he once again launched Minecraft inside the game. Video is available on the author’s channel.

To implement the idea, Fundy used a server that records what is happening, converts it into pixels, and selects pixel-compatible blocks in the game. He managed to open his webcam in Minecraft, watch videos on YouTube, play chess and even draw SpongeBob SquarePants in a graphic editor.

The game at the same time worked with a frequency of only 20 frames / s. Fundy believes that this is a good indicator under such a load.

Earlier this month, students at Vyatka State University in Kirov built a copy of the campus in Minecraft. Ivan Gubin, director of the VyatSU Polytechnic Institute, noted that a graduation ceremony may take place in the game. Employees have already begun to notify students to connect to the video game. The date of the digital ceremony and other details are not specified.
