The Complete Edition will include all the content that will be released at the time of its release, including six add-ons and many cosmetic items. In addition, its customers will receive a second add-on subscription, which will open access to two DLCs – Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut.

Designer’s Cut will add a new skill tree for each of the four heroes and an Arms Race mode. DLC can be purchased separately.

In the “Arms Race” players will find themselves at the military base Stormblind Complex, located on a snow-covered island in a previously unknown corner of Pandora. The task is to deliver the maximum number of items of equipment to the evacuation point in a limited time. Not only will you have to shoot at the attackers, but also to avoid Murdercane (short for “murder hurricane”) – a deadly hurricane that rages in these places. All active and passive skills of the heroes will be disabled so that participants can only compete in the possession of weapons. They will only be allowed to resurrect partners at special points. If the team dies, all undelivered loot will be lost forever. A Single-player is also supported.

Unique legendary items in the new model can only be obtained by defeating the final boss – Heavyweight Harker. The competition is hosted by Axton and Salvador, the heroes of Borderlands 2 who became the commentators of ECHOcast.

The Multiverse Final Form Cosmetic Pack will be added to the game on November 10. It will allow you to change the model of each character, giving him the appearance of an alternate reality, where he did not become a vault seeker. It will go to owners of the Ultimate Edition, Next-Level Edition (new edition for consoles only, including next-generation systems), Super Deluxe Edition, and two Season Pass. In addition, owners of any version of the game will unlock level 11 in Mayhem mode.

Director’s Cut is scheduled for release in the spring of 2021. It will include new missions, high-level content, and materials about the creation of the game. Season Pass 2 costs $ 30 (price for Russia has not been announced yet). Borderlands 3 will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S simultaneously with the launch systems. Owners of versions for current platforms will be able to update the shooter for free within the same family of consoles.
