Sales start before the end of December
Recently, an insider shared Huawei’s plans for new products. Among the new products, nova 8 was mentioned, which debuted in December-January. And now another informant has confirmed this data: nova 8 will debut in December. And already pretty soon.
Budget flagships Huawei nova 8 are on the way.
Reportedly, the premiere will take place on December 23, and sales start on December 30. Simultaneously, the informant gives the approximate cost of smartphones: nova 8 – about $ 460, nova 8 Plus – about $ 610. There are no detailed characteristics yet, but one can think that both models will be built on single-chip platforms MediaTek Dimensity 1000/1000 +: Kirin 9000 proprietary SoCs are not enough for the flagships Mate 40, but they still need to be “stretched” for the Huawei P50 coming out in spring.
At least in the older model, there will be a screen curved to the sides with a dual front camera (like the Huawei P40 Pro). There are rumors about the use of Penta cameras in the nova 8 and Honor V40, but they have not been confirmed yet.
