By the release on new consoles, sales of hardcore action RPG Mortal Shell exceeded 500 thousand copies
On the premiere of hardcore action, RPG Mortal Shell on current-gen consoles, Playstack, and developer Cold Symmetry has shared its success.
As it became known, since the release (August 2020), the total sales of Mortal Shell have exceeded 500 thousand copies. The developers and the publisher have already commented on the taking of the new top.
“We are incredibly honored to have achieved this milestone so quickly. We would not be where we are now without your constant support, thank you,” – said the team of creators of Mortal Shell.
Playstack CEO Harvey Elliott, in a press release, described the 500,000 copies sold as “excellent and well deserved” for “supremely talented” developers.
Mortal Shell is currently available on PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. The Steam version is expected to premiere this summer.
Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition (as the version for next-gen consoles is called) offers 4K resolution, 60fps support (30fps on Xbox Series S), improved textures, and increased details.
In addition to the digital release, Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition will also receive retail editions – standard and expanded (artbook, illustrations, and postcards included). The latter will hit the shelves in the spring.
