This may cause delays in delivery.
A short message has been posted on the Canon website, under the heading “Delivery Status Information”.
Canon claims an interest in EOS R5 and EOS R6 “exceeded expectations”
In it, the Japanese manufacturer notifies of a possible delay in the supply of the recently introduced mirrorless cameras EOS R5 and EOS R6. In addition, the list of what may hit the shelves with a delay includes the BG-R10 battery and the RF1.4x and RF2x teleconverters.
According to Canon, the delay is due to the fact that the number of orders for these products “exceeded expectations.”
