Canon EOS M50 Mark II camera will be able to record video in 4K / 60p format

Resource Canon Rumors has unveiled the specifications of the Canon EOS M50 Mark II mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera, the announcement of which is expected before the end of this year.

The novelty will replace the Canon EOS M50 (shown in the images), which debuted back in early 2018. This device is equipped with a 24.1 million effective pixel APS-C CMOS sensor, DIGIC 8 processor, 3-inch tiltable touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC controllers. Video recording is possible in 4K format (3840 × 2160 pixels) at 25 frames per second.

The EOS M50 Mark II camera, according to the released information, will be equipped with an APS-C CMOS sensor with 32.5 million pixels. The high-performance DIGIC X chip will handle the image processing.

The novelty will be able to record 4K materials at up to 60 frames per second (4K / 60p). In addition, the possibility of sequential photography at a rate of 14 frames per second is mentioned.

The camera will receive a DPAF II automatic focusing system, an electronic viewfinder, and one SD memory card slot. At the same time, there is no built-in stabilization system.
