It has improved autofocus and video recording capabilities over the original model
As expected, Canon has unveiled the EOS M50 Mark II, an upgrade to Canon’s most popular mirrorless camera, the EOS M50. The M50 Mark II uses the same 24MP APS-C image sensor as the original model and the same Digic 8 image processor. At the same time, the Dual Pixel AF system has been updated to track the eyes in the frame not only when shooting, but also when shooting video. In addition, it became possible to shoot vertical video and broadcast it to YouTube Live via an Internet connection on a smartphone.
Canon EOS M50 Mark II is priced at $ 600
The rest of the camera characteristics have remained practically unchanged. Supports shooting 4K video with a frame rate of 24 fps and 1.5x crop. In this case, only the contrast autofocus is available. At Full HD resolution, Dual Pixel autofocus works, and the maximum frame rate is increased to 120 fps. In terms of photos, a new electronic shutter option is available, and the top burst speed is 7.4fps with continuous autofocus. One battery charge can take 305 pictures.
The EOS M50 Mark II will go on sale in late November for $ 600. For $ 700 you can buy a kit with a 15-45 / 3.5-6.3 lens, and for $ 930, a 55-200 / 4.5-6.3 lens will be added to the kit.
