One of the major changes in the improved lock screen, which essentially turns the idle computer into a smart display. The screen, for example, can play a slideshow of photos. The clock, weather information, and the title of the music currently playing are displayed at the same time. The bottom right corner of the screen displays information about the battery level, Wi-Fi signal quality, and the number of new messages.

The camera app has a separate folder called Camera in the My Files section, where new photos and videos will be saved.

Another change has affected the virtual desktop system in Chrome OS. Switching between them has become faster – you can use gestures on the touchpad or key combinations for this.
