Cities, deserts and wars: a trailer for the technologically advanced story MMORPG Crimson Desert

Pearl Abyss has unveiled a trailer for Crimson Desert, an open-world MMORPG set in the Black Desert universe, for PC and consoles in winter 2021.

Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert is the largest Pearl Abyss game since Black Desert, which was released five years ago and attracted 40 million users on PC, consoles, and mobile platforms. A five-minute trailer for the project from a South Korean publisher showcases an open world full of towns and cities, as well as huge mountains, deep canyons, winding rivers, and deserted deserts.

The project is a kind of continuation of the Black Desert. It combines elements of a single-player story-driven game with multiplayer online features. The Crimson Desert is set on the war-torn continent of Pavel, where cultures and religions reign and where factions and regions compete for power.

In the story, the king of Demenissa lies in a coma. In the resulting power vacuum, those who have suffered from his rule are trying to use the situation to their advantage. The main character is McDuff, a leader with a tragic past who leads a gang of mercenaries and fights for his lands. As you progress, players will make decisions that will significantly affect the development of the plot and events.
