Climb to the Summit: Insurmountable Climbing Roguelike PC Releases April 29

ByteRockers’ Games has announced that Insurmountable’s mountain climbing adventure roguelike will hit PC on April 29, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions coming later. The game will also be released on Nintendo Switch. The studio also mentioned the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S release but did not specify whether these will be full versions.

Insurmountable

Insurmountable is a mountain climbing simulator without saving or checkpoints. Each mountain is procedurally generated, so there are no identical climbs in the game. You have to support the life of the climber and monitor his performance. This task is complicated by a dynamic weather system, daily cycle, and random events.

The game will have a choice between three characters with different skills and backgrounds. As you climb, you’ll be able to find gear from past adventurers who couldn’t make it to the top alive in crates, caves, and ancient ruins. Over time, you will become stronger thanks to the pumping of skills and will be able to complete your mission. Also, Insurmountable will have three mysterious stories in which you will meet dangerous animals, sinister and friendly characters.
