Recall that the release of Outriders was originally expected in the summer of 2020, then closer to the launch of the new generation consoles in November and until recently – on February 2, 2021.

From now on, the Outriders release is scheduled for April 1, 2021. On that date, the game will go on sale for PC (Steam, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, with a Google Stadia version coming later.

In the letter attached below, the developers assured that they are using the extra time that has fallen on them with benefit: the project will be further polished and thoroughly prepared for launch.

Among other things, Square Enix and People Can Fly announced the Outriders demo. “Probnik” will be released on February 25 and will offer the beginning of the story campaign (single-mode and co-op), as well as the transfer of progress to the release edition.

“We think it’s important to make it possible for new intellectual property such as Outriders to be reviewed prior to release. So everyone will be able to decide whether to pre-order the project, buy and play at all, ”the developers commented.

Outriders promise a cooperative mode with support for up to three people, “a captivating story in a bright and unusual world”, four character classes, intense firefights and role-playing elements.
