CoD: Modern Warfare and Warzone banned over 200 thousand cheaters since release

Developers Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone blocked more than 200 thousand cheaters since its release. Infinity Ward announced this on Twitter. The studio also stressed that it will continue to adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for cheaters and release new security updates.

The shooter was released less than a year ago, and the Warzone battle royale mode is just over six months. The total number of locks included a wave of bans, which happened at the end of September. Then the studio revealed about 20 thousand unscrupulous players.

Now Activision Blizzard is developing the next part of the series – Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The project will be a direct sequel to the first Black Ops. The game will be released on November 13 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 with the possibility of updating to versions for PS5 and Xbox Series, respectively. For pre-order, users will get access to beta testing of the multiplayer mode and the Woods Operator Pack.
