Compact reader Xiaomi InkPalm 5 with HD screen priced at $ 90

On the crowdfunding platform, Xiaomi Youpin presented a pocket device for reading e-books InkPalm 5: the novelty is equipped with a screen on an e-paper measuring 5.2 inches diagonally.

The display has 1280 × 720 dots (HD format) and a pixel density of 284 PPI (dots per inch). Support for touch control has been implemented. Besides, the color temperature can be adjusted (24 levels).

The reader is equipped with an unnamed processor with four processing cores. RAM’s volume is 1 GB, and the built-in flash drive is designed to store 32 GB of information.

The operating system Android 8.1 is used as a software platform. Users will be able to install various applications and download e-books through popular services, including the Kindle.

A rechargeable battery with a capacity of 1400 mAh is responsible for the power supply. The device is housed in a body that is only 6.9 mm thick and weighs 115 g.
