Cyberpunk 2077 and Watch Dogs: Legion showcase the power of new GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards

NVIDIA today announced a new range of GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards. CD Projekt RED and Ubisoft joined the presentation and showed how their games would look using the latest graphics technology from the green manufacturer.

One of the projects showcased is the hotly anticipated RPG shooter Cyberpunk 2077, which on the GeForce RTX 30 Series offers impressive lighting with improved ray tracing, reflections, shadows, and other effects. Unfortunately, CD Projekt RED did not specify on which video card the presented assembly works. Even with YouTube’s notorious compression, it’s clear that the game will boast cutting edge graphics despite having an open world.

At the same time, Ubisoft released a trailer dedicated to the capabilities of NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards for the action-adventure Watch Dogs: Legion. The developers showed how the game looks with ray tracing and also announced support for DLSS technology. The new GeForce RTX 3090 with 24GB of memory onboard is able to reproduce Watch Dogs: Legion in 8K resolution in the “DLSS ultra-performance” mode – the image in 1440p is stretched to the desired value using artificial intelligence and maintaining the clarity of the picture.

Notably, when you buy a GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics card, you’ll receive a free copy of Watch Dogs: Legion and a one-year subscription to the GeForce NOW streaming service.

Cyberpunk 2077 will go on sale on November 19 and Watch Dogs: Legion on October 29. Both games will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on the scheduled dates, and will subsequently appear on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
