But it will be inferior to Ryzen 7 5800X

In addition to mobile APU Ryzen 5000, AMD is also preparing desktop ones. In particular, the lineup will include the Ryzen 7 5700G, which will belong to the Cezanne line, that is, it will be based on the latest Zen 3 architecture.

Eight very fast cores, plus a decent integrated graphics core. Ryzen 7 5700G beats Ryzen 7 3700X by far

This APU will receive eight cores with SMT support and will operate at frequencies up to 4.4 GHz. By comparison, the Ryzen 7 5800X with the same core count is clocked at up to 4.7 GHz. Of course, the APU will be slightly slower than the CPU, but the CPU-Z test shows that the upcoming novelty, for example, bypasses the desktop Ryzen 7 3700X.

More specifically, the Ryzen 7 5700G scores 614 and 6292 points in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively. And that’s 20% and 16% more than the Ryzen 7 3700X. Considering that the new solution will also have a very productive integrated graphics core, the result is quite impressive.

The source, by the way, also managed to overclock the new product to 4.7 GHz, getting a result of 647 and 6960 points. The APU is expected to cost around € 296. It is also worth noting that the processor can eventually be called the Ryzen 7 5750G.
