The new line is sold worse than last year, but the Galaxy S20 + was the best in class
This is the best-selling 5G smartphone last quarter
Sources say Samsung Galaxy S20 line-ups were up 32.6% on the Galaxy S10 line-up in the first quarter. By the end of the quarter, the Korean giant sold 8.2 million flagship smartphones.
The leader in the line is the Galaxy S20 +, which sold 3.5 million units and took up almost 43% of the manufacturer’s flagship sales. In the same line of Samsung smartphones in the first quarter, the Galaxy S20 + took ninth place. In particular, it was bypassed by the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A10s, but these smartphones are generally among the best-selling in the world.
The same Galaxy A51 in this list lost only iPhone 11. For the quarter, Samsung sold 6.8 million of these devices, while the Galaxy A10s sold 3.9 million units. True, it is worth noting that the Galaxy A51 and A10s came out much earlier than the fresh flagships.
But the Galaxy S20 + was distinguished by the fact that it was the best-selling 5G smartphone on the market in the last quarter.
