This is the lightest and most autonomous laptop on the AMD platform
The Dynabook brand, which previously belonged to Toshiba, and since 2019 has gone free, has presented a unique Dynabook GA83/XW laptop. This is the world’s lightest model based on an AMD processor – depending on the configuration, it uses the Ryzen 5 7530U or Ryzen 7 7730U. At the same time, the weight of the 13-inch device is only 875 grams.
The device is made of a magnesium alloy case with a thickness of 17.9 mm. Inside they managed to place a battery with a very large capacity for devices of this class – 83 Wh, due to this the autonomy reaches 24 hours.

The amount of RAM LPDDR4-4266 is 16 GB, solid-state drive is 512 GB. The touchscreen diagonal is 13.3 inches, resolution is Full HD. There are two USB-C 3.1 ports, two USB 3.0 Type-A, RJ-45 (!), and a microSD card slot. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 adapters are also provided; an LTE modem can be installed for an additional fee. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the touch cursor control panel.
The Dynabook GA83/XW costs $2,600 in Japan. But in the future, it should appear in other countries and regions, and the price will be significantly lower than in Japan.
