Exposing the day. Very strange fingerprint scanner with a camera in a Xiaomi smartphone

The patent was attracted by the thematic resource SlashLeaks, specializing in various kinds of leaks, and published a schematic image.

The illustration shows an unusual fingerprint scanner – it is located on the side of the power button and uses the built-in camera. It is noted that the response speed is very high and reaches 0.01 ms.

However, this idea is unlikely to appear on smartphones on store shelves. As noted by the well-known network informant Xiaomishka on the social network Twitter, in fact, the image is not at all from the documentation, but just a fake. However, despite this, the image has already been disseminated on the network as “real” after being published on SlashLeaks.
