Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp have a massive outage – services do not work for tens of thousands of users
According to Downdetector, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger are experiencing problems. Tens of thousands of users report that these services have become unavailable. Some do not allow you to log into your account; for others, they do not update the news feed.
Apparently, the cause of the problem is some kind of malfunction related to Facebook servers – the company owns both Instagram and WhatsApp. The Facebook Gaming account also tweeted that the online streaming service was also affected. Several teams are already working on solving the problem.
Note that the crash affected users around the world. Problems have been reported from North America, Europe, and Asia. Russian users were also affected by the problem. The reasons have not yet been reported.
