50 megapixel and periscope module
Huawei will introduce the new flagship smartphones of the Mate series only in the fall, but the first information about them has already begun to appear on the network.

The well-known network informant RODENT950, which has worked well in the past, has published a “very early” render showing the possible design of the main camera of the older model in the series – Huawei Mate 40 Pro.
As we see, the round design of the main camera is preserved. The ToF sensor has been used before, the 50-megapixel module is familiar to us from the Huawei P40 series. Two larger rectangular-shaped modules are also noted – these are the new “cinematic” Cine cameras with wider lenses. The smaller of them, apparently, is the periscope, providing a 5x zoom.
