Future Pixel smartphones will receive a sub-screen camera, follows from Google patent
Internet sources have found a patent document from Google that describes the design of a new smartphone: observers believe that we are talking about the next-generation Pixel device.
As you can see in the schematic images, the device will be equipped with a display with narrow bezels around the perimeter. Moreover, this screen has neither a cutout nor a hole for the front camera.
Therefore, presumably, the selfie module will be located directly behind the display. By the way, rumours about the possibility of a Pixel smartphone with this design have already appeared on the Internet.
The main camera of the novelty, judging by the patent illustrations, will be enclosed in a square-shaped area with rounded corners. It will integrate several image sensors, a flash and additional sensors.
According to rumours, the described design can be received by smartphones of the Pixel 6 family. The official announcement of devices of this series is expected in the spring of the coming year: perhaps the presentation will take place in March. Google, however, does not comment on the released information.
