The new GPUs are slightly faster than the previous HOF variants. They were created by the Chinese Galax OC Lab team, responsible for developing the company’s highest performing solutions. Under the OC Lab brand, the company, for example, also manufactures solid-state drives and memory modules. As for video cards, OC Lab variants rightfully have the status of flagship solutions.

For the Galax GeForce RTX 2080 Super HOF 10th Anniversary OC Lab Edition model, the manufacturer offers a factory overclocked GPU up to 1860 MHz. Previous models, available in black and white, run at a Boost frequency of 1845 MHz. According to VideoCardz, the OC Lab Edition is the second-fastest GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER on the market after the ASUS Strix GeForce RTX 2080 Super OC, whose GPU runs at 1890 MHz in Boost mode.

There is one visual difference between the original HOF 10th Anniversary and OC Lab Edition models. The latter has gold rings around the side fans of the cooling system. Regular versions have black ones. Along with the GeForce RTX 2080 Super HOF 10th Anniversary OC Lab Edition, Galax introduced the same version of the GeForce RTX 2070 with the exact same cooling system design.
